This has the exact same problem any short bong seems to have; bong water rocketing straight through the whole tube thing and smothering your lips. I've tried varying degrees of inhaling, even have a mouthpeace that provides SOME splash guard, but it isn't enough. Who are these bongs for? Who out there just has absolutely no problem practically drinking the bong water as they rip? Why are all these short bongs all rated so highly when something as aggravating as lip slashing will be present on every single one of them? At least the ones without built in splash guards and I have to wonder about the efficacy of those as well. I've been left feeling like I should have just gone to any local shop and bought their cheapest bong because it will come with all the same issues anyways and I won't have to worry about dropping a more expensive product.

Th 12 inch bong is a very nice sized cool hitter. Ice catch and tree percolating makes it so smooth. Highly recommend.
